The public Dimraeth demo closed on July 15, 2026. As checked on September 9, the next announced release is Steam Early Access on September 15. The old “download the demo” videos no longer describe current availability.
Why did the demo disappear?
Mudtek explained that the demo had diverged substantially from the upcoming game. Releasing it again would require significant rebuilding. The removal was announced in advance and followed by a closing-day thank-you post.
How to check for a new demo
- Open the official Steam listing.
- Look for a current demo button or a new announcement from Mudtek.
- If neither is present, an old video or third-party download page does not establish that an official demo is available.
Will the demo return?
The developer left open the possibility of a rebuilt demo but did not commit to a return date in the announcement. No new demo date was verified for this guide.
Does the demo represent Early Access?
Only partly. The upcoming update adds Elf, Shadow, expanded regions and a skill-tree overhaul. Use old footage to understand the broad feel of the game, while checking new announcements for changed systems.
